THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT SEASON (feature doc)

Carl's directorial debut. And VALØR's feature composing debut. The score was dual, VALØR creating the filmatic score, 
while the band 1997 wrote and performed the more track-orientated soundtrack. The cinematic score was more or less based 
on "unfinished" acoustic sketches, recorded in Carl's apartment during the editing process. In the end he and editor Joakim Schager realized the 
"rough" (an understatement..) texture suited the vibe of the film and the finished score was pretty much unpolished yet subtly refined versions of the rough sketches, mixed by collaborator Poppa Lars. Herunder are three scenes from the film which display a wider range of emotional tonality that helped convey the story and build character arcs.
