GOLLIS : WAR ON SANTA
Feature length documentary project (2019-) directed by Carl Christian Lein Størmer and produced by Mathis Mathisen for IGH.
In 1992 three local business men in the small village of Lyngseidet decide to erect the world's largest Santa in an effort to save the village from being marginalized.
30 years later "Gollis" - the World's largest Santa and awarded "Norway's Ugliest Tourist Attraction" - now hidden between tall trees and barely visible to general eye - still divides the local community.
Then in 2019, a neighboring village wants to buy him.
